Kota Bharu bakal miliki kompleks gaya hidup sihat

Melihat kepada kekurangan tempat bersantai bersama keluarga dan beriadah di Kota Bharu, Sultan Kelantan, Sultan Muhamad V, menyarankan kepada seorang pemaju untuk membangunkan sebuah kompleks mempromosikan gaya hidup sihat di Kota Bharu.

Kompleks ikonik yang diberi nama QueensPark SportCity and Boulevard ini merupakan kompleks rekreasi, sukan dan hiburan bersepadu pertama di Malaysia yang terdiri daripada dua blok bangunan iaitu kompleks sukan dan boulevard.
Kompleks sukan dan rekreasi setinggi tiga tingkat itu menawarkan kemudahan bertaraf dunia antaranya gelanggang futsal yang mengikut standard Persekutuan Bola Sepak Antarabangsa (FIFA), pusat snuker dan pool terbesar serta pusat boling 36 lorong.

Ia juga menyediakan gelanggang kasut roda bermuzik pertama di negeri itu manakala boulevard pula menekankan konsep gaya hidup moden sesuai untuk bersantai dan berhibur bersama keluarga.

Menurut Chew, bagi memastikan Queenspark mengekalkan jati diri rakyat Kelantan dan dalam masa yang sama memperkenalkan keistimewaan makanan-makanan dari negeri itu, pihaknya amat selektif dalam memilih penyewa kedai.

Jelas beliau, 70 peratus daripada penyewa perlu memastikan makanan yang disediakan adalah bercirikan negeri tersebut.

Chew berkata, lokasi QueensPark SportsCity and Boulevard amat strategik kerana ia dikelilingi oleh kawasan rekreasi iaitu Taman Perbandaran Tengku Anis dan Kompleks Taman Budaya.

Ia juga hampir dengan Lapangan Terbang Pengkalan Chepa, Pantai Cahaya Bulan, kawasan perumahan dan komersial.

Projek ini akan dilancarkan tahun depan dengan harga jualan bagi lot runcit adalah di antara RM220 hingga RM250 sekaki persegi.
